George, 58, of Garrison;, died Tuesday, June 28, 1994 at St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Born March 4, 1936, in Brainerd to William Sr. and Nicoleta Aspros. He married Lorraine Nelson on Nov.2, 1957, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He was owner of Smokey Bill's Barbecue from 1960 to 1980. He also owned Lakes Area Chem-Dry from 1986 - 1994.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs Bryn [Nancy] Hartwig, Maple Grove; three sons; Tom, Greg and BoB, all of Brainerd; his mother, Brainerd; two grandchildren; and a sister Kitty Huth, Brooklyn Park.
His father and brother, William Jr. died earlier.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Father Hans offficiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetary.
